Our Chickens

We love our birds!!!  

The sound of a backyard flock drifting across the yard with soft clucking, trilling, chirping and peeping reminds me of the sweet, summer days long ago when I would wake up on my Grandparent's small South Dakota homestead and go out with my Grandmother to gather eggs to make my Grandpa's breakfast.  Such sweet childhood memories led me to want a flock of my own and I think my dear Grandmother would be proud!

Our flock consists of French Black Copper Marans, Cuckoo Marans, Bielefelders, Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiners, Speckled Sussex, Buff Orpingtons, Australorps, Delawares, Whiting True Blues and Ameracaunas.  With a true passion for our birds, we hope to add many more chicken breeds and exotics as time goes by!
